Employee Profile

Are you ready for a career in a dynamic organization with an environment that encourages professional behaviour and job satisfaction? Can you identify yourself with our values and customer promises? Then you are ready for LINK.

We are nearly 60 colleagues working in Scandinavia and here we will present some statements from some of them.

Linn Merete Huse, MSc Pharm

Clinical Research Manager and CRA manager

I joined LINK in April 2008 as a CRM. My position is divided between having my own clinical study projects and being manager for 8 CRAs. I hope having hands-on experience makes me a better CRA manager, a manager that knows the challenges the CRAs can meet in their daily work. Personally I find that the combination of managing others and having my own projects makes my job very interesting.
LINK gives me great flexibility and responsibility in planning my days. And no two days are the same: different clients, new clients, projects of different types and sizes, interdepartmental teamwork, training of colleagues and clients, hiring, writing contracts in a medium-sized company such as LINK there will always be opportunities to take part in many different assignments. LINK has a great philosophy of using everybody’s potential to its full capacity and showing great flexibility in solving all projects - a philosophy that I feel makes the company an even better place to work.

Helén Larhammar, M.Sc. Pharm

Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager

Since April 2009 I am working 60% at LINK as a Senior RAM in Sweden. I really enjoy working in this stimulating company together with very competent staff both in Sweden and Norway. At LINK I have the opportunity to work with complete regulatory services from early drug development to maintenance of marketed products. When working with LINK I have the possibility to use my experience either at customer’s office or from home.
LINK has the philosophy to take care of each employee’s full knowledge and experience, which suits me perfect.

Anna Karin Bergstrand

CRA

I work as a CRA for  LINKMedical Research in Sweden. I joined LINK in September 2008, just after the company’s launch in Sweden. This gave me a unique opportunity to take part in the start-up phase of a company, getting to do things that I never do as a CRA. The advantage of belonging to a small company is that you have a chance to influence the shaping of the company. You have a say, and everyone’s views count.

At the moment I am outsourced to a pharmaceutical company as a CRA. I am working with clinical trials as the link between the company sponsoring the trial and the hospital where the trial is being conducted. The work is varied and involves travel. You need to be a bit of a problem–solver, because you never know what questions you will need to answer from day to day.  I also enjoy the teamwork.

Working as a consultant suits me very well and I am happy with my work situation. Although I spend most of my time at the pharmaceutical company.I never doubt that I belong to LINK. I meet my LINKcolleagues at a regular basis, and at other times they are never more than a phone call away.

Randi Riise, MSc

Director Quality Assurance

Working with LINK is usually interesting, as a rule fun, and never routine. With changing assignments over time I regularly have new collaborators, new colleagues and new tasks, but at the same time I have the stability, loyalty and cooperation of the LINK organization.
No task is too small, and very few assignments are too big for LINK; the competence, diversity and flexibility of the LINK employees attract a wide range of assignments and projects. Continuing education is encouraged by management and so is working across departments; I have been given the opportunity for further training and certification within quality auditing, and I am working with regulatory affairs, clinical operations and quality assurance.
I am constantly challenged and I need to reach for new goals all the time. I like that.
